On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, Weir High School will be administering the SAT test to ALL 11th grade student. The SAT will be online and is the state’s high school accountability exam. ALL grade 11 students are required to take this state-administered test. ALL 9th, 10th & 12th graders will have a remote day. Work will be provided by TEAMS. 9th , 10th, & 12th graders are required to complete their assignment(s) in order to be considered present. Failure to complete assignment(s), students will be have an unexcused absence.

Good evening this Mr enich, superintendent of Hancock county schools weir High school directing to high school middle school both staff there is a 24 hour boil order from the schools that order is for the better percentage of the school day tomorrow all water stations will be sealed off and unusable. It will be bottled water provided to each school in the morning and place throughout the buildings restrooms will be usable drinking water will be provided. Thank you for your cooperation.

Hancock County Schools would like to thank all those who helped with and voted for the Hancock County Schools Excess Levy. The passage of this levy is an investment in the future of our students, staff and community. Thanks again for your support and commitment.

The SAT school day is required for all JUNIORS and will be held at WHS on 3/23. All other grades of WHS students (9, 10, and 12) will have either a TEAMS assignment or work to do on that day and will not be attend school in person on that day. All assignments given for that day for grades 9, 10, and 12 WILL be graded!

2 hour Early Dismissal on Friday 2/18 for Faculty Senate. Weir High School will dismiss at 12:20. No school on President's Day, Monday 2/21.
