Directions from Steubenville
Take Route 22 E to Weirton, WV
Take the WV Exit 3 – Harmon Creek Exit
Turn slight left onto Harmon Creek/Cove Road
At the first traffic light, turn right onto Weir Avenue (If you go over railroad tracks, you have gone too far)
Go through the next traffic light and take the first right onto 11th St.
Go to the top of the hill and you will see a sign for Weir High.
Make a right at the sign.
Directions from Pittsburgh
Take Route 22 W to Weirton, WV
Take Exit 3 – Harmon Creek/Cove Road
At the stop sign – turn right onto Harmon Creek/Cove Road.
At the first traffic light, turn right onto Weir Avenue (If you go over railroad tracks, you have gone too far)
Go through the next traffic light and take the first right onto 11th St.
Go to the top of the hill and you will see a sign for Weir High.
Make a right at the sign.
BUS Directions
Route #1
Take the Weirton exit – Route 2 North. Proceed on Route 2 until you reach Pennsylvania Avenue (10th light). You will make a right hand turn onto Pennsylvania Avenue. Proceed until you see Convenient Mart and then Barney’s bakery on the right. You will make a right hand turn right past Barney’s. This will put you on South 13th street. At the next stop sign, make a right onto School Street. Go two (2) blocks until you reach South 11th street. Make a left and follow it until you come to Red Rider Road (Weir High sign at the end of road). Make a left onto Red Rider Road and follow it to the school.
Route #2
Take the downtown Weirton exit (Route 2 North) – 4th exit from the WV line. At this point you will proceed on Route 2 until you reach Pennsylvania Avenue (10th light). You will make a right hand turn onto Pennsylvania Avenue. Proceed to the first red light (Sheltered Workshop on corner) You will make a right hand turn at the light onto Beech Street. Follow this road around onto School Street. Go until you see S. 11th Street. Make a right onto S. 11th. Follow it until you come to Red Rider Road (Weir High sign at the end of road). Make a left onto Red Rider Road and follow it to the school.
